Choose the state before you submit the LLC
An LLC is formed under state law, so the workflow must identify a jurisdiction rather than submit a generic national filing. The practical choice depends on where the company operates, where founders or employees work, and whether the business may need foreign qualification elsewhere. A low advertised filing fee is not a complete state-selection analysis.

Cursor's documentation states that MCP tool calls require approval by default. A filed LLC also needs a registered agent in its formation state, and an EIN is a separate federal process.
