About Lovie
Culture
Nine people, and all nine of them ship.
We are the size we are on purpose. Here is what that actually changes for you.
- You reach the person who built it. There is no support tier between you and the engineer or the lawyer who owns the thing you are asking about. Nine people cannot afford a layer of account managers, and we would not add one if we could.
- Three of us studied law, and they write the filings. Not a reviewer at the end of a process — the same people who designed it. That is why the paperwork is right, and it is also why we will tell you when your plan is a bad idea.
- The price is on the page. One flat formation fee, the registered agent priced separately and annually, and your state's fee going straight to your state. No upsell appears at checkout that was not on the pricing page.
- We file the same day. Your part takes minutes. Our part happens that day. The wait after that belongs to the state, and we say which state is slow rather than averaging it into a promise.
- We build our own tools. Every internal thing here is written in-house, because per-seat software for a team this size is a bad trade. It is also the thesis: this is how the companies we serve already work.
- What is not built yet, we say is not built yet. Anything marked coming soon on this site is coming soon. We would rather lose the sale than win it on a roadmap.
None of this is a values statement. It is a description of constraints we chose, and the reason to publish it is so you can hold us to it — if you ever get an account manager, a surprise line item at checkout, or a promise about a state's timeline that was never ours to make, we have broken something we wrote down.
Try it and see.
If any of the six above turns out not to be true, tell us — support@lovie.co reaches the same nine people.
